Being a teenager ain’t easy.
There’s a LOT coming at you.
Pressure from school…
Confusing, frustrating friendships…
Family expectations…
Figuring out who you are…
Anxiety, depression, and self-doubt…
Maybe you feel like no one really gets it…
Or you don’t want to burden the people around you.
Perhaps you’re here because your parents suggested therapy…
Or you may have decided on your own that you need a space to talk with someone objective.
No judgment? No pressure? No problem.
Whatever brought you here, I see you.
I help teens (14 and older) work through tough emotions, stress, and life changes.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, overwhelmed, or just need someone to help you sort things out…
You are not alone.
Therapy is a place where you can be real, say what’s on your mind, and start figuring out how to feel more like you again.
You might be wondering…
“Is therapy gonna be some weird, awkward thing where I get stared at and asked how I feel?”
If that’s what you WANT, I guess I could make that happen. But I’m guessing not.
Really, therapy is just a conversation.
You come in, grab a seat (or sprawl out, whatever works), and we talk.
Or not.
If you don’t feel like talking right away, that’s cool, too. This is your space just to be without pressure or judgment.
“What’s the point?”
Many teens ask if talking to someone about their life can actually change anything. Fair.
Here’s the thing…
Therapy can help you make sense of things that feel like a total mess.
Maybe your brain is running in circles with anxious thoughts.
Maybe you’re feeling stuck or just off and don’t know why.
Maybe life feels overwhelming, and you need someone to help you sort through it.
Here’s what we’ll do…
A big part of therapy is looking at your negative thinking and replacing it with thoughts that are more balanced, realistic, and actually helpful. It’s not about forcing fake positivity; it’s about shifting the way you see yourself and the world so things feel a little lighter.
Sometimes, we’ll just talk. Other times, we might try specific exercises to help with anxiety, stress, or emotions that feel too big.
We’ll work on real-life skills: how to set boundaries, how to stop spiraling over every little thing, and how to handle difficult situations without shutting down or lashing out.
And no, you don’t have to journal if you don’t want to (though some people actually end up liking it).
At the end of the day…
Therapy helps you understand yourself better and change what isn’t working.
Honestly… sometimes it just helps to have someone who actually listens and cares.
I’m not here to “fix” you… because you’re not broken. I want to help you feel a little better, though.
